How We Leverage Combined Food Purchasing
We focus our efforts on leveraging the combined food purchasing of our members to secure savings on food orders for local chapter houses and national organizations.
When a new organization joins, we combine its food spend with the total food spend of our existing members. This creates more “buying power”.
We use the aggregated buying power of our members to negotiate exclusively discounted contracts with food distributors.
We in-turn offer the newly negotiated contract pricing with all of our members, thereby helping all of our members save money.
Imagine you are responsible for managing a local sorority and are in charge of placing food purchasing orders from US Foods. Because you are a single chapter house, you pay full price because your purchase volume is small.
Now, let’s say you discover Culinary Consultants from your friend who is managing the fraternity next door and join our program. We then combine your purchasing needs with the others on our roster and use this much larger purchase volume as leverage to negotiate deals with food supply vendors.
Because we have already secured these discounted rates, all you have to do to receive the cost savings is register with us and use your member ID when you place an order with a food distributor. You’ll receive immediate savings on your invoice. You don’t need to purchase a certain amount to qualify and can continue ordering anything in the catalog.
What Makes Us Unique?
Savings and services you can’t get anywhere else.
It may surprise you to learn we are the only organization in the nation that does what we do. We take enormous pride in the relationships that we have developed over the years with food distributors.
Our members are treated as a national account in the eyes of the food distributor. Think of us like an older brother. If you need a sounding board, we’re here for you.
You can call us any time and talk to an actual person who fully understands your business – get real ideas, real solutions, really fast.
If you have any questions or simply want a sounding board about your food program, shoot us an email or give us a call.
